She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1994 with a B.A. in Art History.
She also works as a digital media influencer and is the voice of #ExperienceRome for Turismo Roma and the City of Rome's social media campaign on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter in 2018.
She married archeologist and fellow influencer Darius Arya and the two have a volunteer collaboration with Italy's Ministry of Culture to help promote culture heritage via social media.
In 2015 one of her photos was selected to be included in CNN's mural project. Fellow influencer Mette also had a photo selected for the project.
