Rhythm guitarist and the backing vocalist for the Grammy Award-winning Christan rock band Creed.
He was the lead guitarist for Submersed and Daughters of Mara when his manager introduced him to Creed lead guitarist Mark Tremonti.
Finding that he and Tremonti complimented each other in musical style, Friedman joined Creed as their tour rhythm guitarist.
He was born in Yorba Linda, California.
Scott Stapp was his bandmate and a founding member of Creed.
