He played Roberto de la O Servin in the 2001 telenovela Amigas y Rivales.
He married Kate Trillo and their daughters are TV presenter Véronica del Castillo and actress Kate del Castillo. He also had a son, Esteban Eduardo, with his first wife Roxana Billini Santamaría.
He starred alongside Sebastián Rulli and Angelique Boyer in Lo Que La Vida Me Robó.
