Professional pitcher that was signed by the Seattle Mariners as an international free agent in 2007. He was acquired by the Detroit Tigers via a minor league contract in January 2021.
He began his professional career playing for Seattle's rookie affiliate team the VSL Mariners. Just a few years later, he made his major league debut pitching against the San Diego Padres on June 14, 2012.
He is one of only 15 Nicaraguan-born players in MLB history.
He is a native of Rivas, Nicaragua.
He played alongside Felix Hernandez as a member of the Mariners during the 2013 MLB season.
