He suffered his first-ever defeat in a May, 2000 fight against Lee Swaby.
He retired from boxing after a brutal 2009 defeat that left his right eye swollen shut, but he made a comeback later that year.
He was born and raised in Swansea, Wales.
He and fellow Cruiserweight Shane Cameron have both held WBO titles.
