Tony Award-nominated actress who has performed in Broadway productions of Side Show, The Full Monty, and Billy Elliot, among others. Her Washington, D.C. theatrical credits include Company, Mame, and The Witches of Eastwick.
After attending Carnegie Mellon University, she moved to New York and joined the Broadway cast of Jekyll & Hyde.
She and Alice Ripley received the first co-nomination in Tony Award history for their performance as Siamese twins in the musical Side Show.
She grew up in Richmond, Virginia. She was married in September of 1998.
She played dance teacher Sandra Wilkinson in Broadway's Billy Elliot. Julie Walters played the same role in the film adaptation of the play.
