This pop singer rose to fame as a contestant on the thirteenth season of American Idol. She finished the competition in twelfth place and was eliminated following a performance of the Jennifer Lopez hit "Let's Get Loud."
Before appearing on American Idol, she auditioned for Season 1 of The X Factor USA.
She made it to the Top 12 on American Idol after performing Pink's "Glitter in the Air."
She grew up in Miami, Florida, in a family of Cuban heritage. She and her siblings Jenni and Jon are the children of Mary and Lou Piriz.
She and Sam Woolf were both finalists on Season 13 of American Idol.
