After signing with Request Models at 17, she appeared in a Glamour editorial. The following year, she appeared in ads for Ralph Lauren and Kensie.
Her modeling success came despite almost a complete lack of formal training: her total previous modeling experience was four months.
She's of Italian, Irish, and Native American descent and grew up with two older siblings. She married financier Kyle Peterson in June of 2018. Their first child together is expected to arrive in December 2021.
She was signed as the face Maybelline in a series of TV ads alongside Christy Turlington.
