Emil Nodtveidt

Swedish guitarist, bassist and keyboardist who became a legend in the European metal scene for his work with the bands Ophthalamia and Deathstar. As a solo artist, he has released albums like 2001's Synthetic Generation and 2009's Death Dies Hard.
He began his career as a member of the band Swordmaster in 1994.
He was briefly the live guitarist for the black metal act Dissection and appeared on the band's 2003 live album Live Legacy.
His brother Jon Nodtveidt was the lead guitarist for Dissection.
He and vocalist Andreas Bergh have both performed as members of Deathstars.
