Latvian professional ice hockey who's best known for playing for HC Lugano of the National League. He also played for the Latvia men's national ice hockey team.
He made his National League debut with HC Lugano against Lausanne HC in September 2013.
He was chosen to play for Latvia men's national ice hockey team for the 2016 and 2017 World Championship.
His mom is Sandra Vanaga-Mackina.
Both he and Zemgus Girgensons played for Latvia men's national ice hockey team.
