She and her siblings were homeschooled so they could travel. She started surfing around the age of 8.
She ranked 6th in Playboy's list of "hottest surfers." She is a dominant presence on Instagram with more than 1 million followers.
She is the older sister of four siblings named Holly-Sue, Ruby-Lee, Jackson and Bonnie-Lou. Their parents are Jason and Kym Coffey.
She admires fellow pro surfer Bethany Hamilton.
