Wife of Woodrow Wilson who was the First Lady of the United States from 1913 until her death the following year. She donated much of her time to charity and helping to improve housing in the capital's slums.
She attended New York University and was an artist.
She died of Bright's disease while her husband was still in office as president.
She first met future husband and President of the U.S. Woodrow Wilson when she was an infant.
She was the first lady after Helen Taft served as first lady.
