Elena Radionova
Figure Skater
Russian figure skater who won gold at the World Junior Championships in 2013 and 2014, making her the first skater in history to win two World Junior titles. In 2015, she took home silver medals at the European Figure Skating Championships and the Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final.
She was introduced to skating by her father at age three. At age four, she began receiving training from Inna Goncharenko at CSKA Moscow.
At the 2014 World Junior Championships, she set the world record for the junior ladies' short program with a 66.90 point performance.
Her parents are Igor Anatolievich and Svetlana Vasilievna. She is an only child.
She and 2012 winner Yulia Lipnitskaya are both World Junior champions in ladies' singles figure skating.
