Singer who represented her native Romania in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest.
She performed with the Latin pop band, Mandinga, in the early years of her music career.
Her most their singles include "Disco Romancing" and "Midnight Sun," both of which rose to the top of Romanian, Hungarian, and Dutch music charts.
She was born in Bucharest to a family of Macedonian Aromanian and Romanian descent. In 2011, she gave birth to her son Nicolas.
Her performance of Whitney Houston's hit song "One Moment in Time" won her an Eastern European vocal prize in 2000.
