She sang in church growing up.
She became a member of the Assembly of God Ministry of Madureira.
She was born Elaine Martins de Araújo Chagas in an evangelical home in Rio de Janeiro. She married and has a son named Josue.
She and Aline Barros are both Brazilian gospel singers.
