Perhaps most well known for her role as Kyla Woods in the teen television series South of Nowhere and for her portrayal of Betsy in the ABC Family series Greek, she is also notable for her recurring roles as Sage Alcazar and Araya on the respective shows General Hospital and Strong Medicine.
She made her screen acting debut in the 2001 feature Alex in Wonder.
She shared the screen with Tom Selleck in a made-for-TV movie titled Jesse Stone: Innocents Lost.
Born to Frank Boylan and Merlie Baris in Acton, California, she grew up with a brother named Tommy and a half-brother named David.
She co-starred with Alexa Vega in the 2004 movie Sleepover.
