Edward J. Fraughton

American artist, sculptor and inventor who created epic, monumental works, such as the Pioneer Courage Monument and his sculpture of John Wayne.
He went to the University of Utah as a Civil Engineering student and later changed his major to sculpture.
He was selected to create the inaugural medal for President Ronald Reagan.
His parents raised him in Park City, Utah.
He worked in the Jobs Corps created by Lyndon B. Johnson.
