Brazilian politician who is known for being the 39th Governor of Rio Grande do Sul. He is also known for having been the Mayor of Pelotas.
He attended the Federal University of Pelotas where he earned his degree in Political Science. His career in politics first started in January of 2009 when he was elected Alderman of Pelotas. He was then elected Mayor of Pelotas in January of 2013 and Governor of Rio Grande do Sul in January of 2019.
He is also known for being a member of the PSDB or the Brazilian Social Democracy Party.
He was born and raised in Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
