Ed Young
Religious Leader
Pastor who founded the influential megachurch known as the Fellowship Church, whose services are broadcast on Ed Young Television. He is also a New York Times best-selling author, having written books like 2006's In the Zone and 2008's The Marriage Mirror.
He attended Florida State University on a basketball scholarship. He later earned a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.
His weekly show Ed Young Television became the first religious program of its type to air on the E! Channel.
His father Homer Edwin Young was the senior pastor of Second Baptist Church Houston in Houston. He married a woman named Lisa, with whom he has children named LeeBeth, Laurie, Landra, and EJ.
He and fellow pastor and author Jentezen Franklin are both natives of North Carolina.
