Hall of Fame tackle who played for the Chicago Bears from 1923 until 1927.
He attended two colleges: the College of the Holy Cross and Dartmouth; he was a three-year starter in football at Dartmouth.
In 1924, he made a touchdown-saving play off his own teammate who was running the wrong way after intercepting the ball.
He was born in Indian Orchard, Massachusetts.
Chicago Bears' player-coach George Halas paid $100 to bring him onto the team.
