His portrayed a rich man from Syria as part of his gimmick and also illegally hid pencils to cut opponent's faces. This backfired often.
He was married to a woman named Joyce who passes away in 2013.
He was sometimes referred to as The Original Sheik as to not get confused with Iron Sheik.
