Irish businessman who served as the CEO and Chairman of the Board of The Coca-Cola Company from 2004 to 2008. During his time with Coca-Cola, he was responsible for the company's spread into markets like India and Eastern Europe.
At age ten, he moved to Zambia, where he began working for the local Coca-Cola bottling company in 1966.
He donated $1 million to the University of Cape Town's rugby team in 2011.
He married a woman named Pamela.
He and Roberto Goizueta are both former CEO's of The Coca-Cola Company.
