Pop singer who won the Pave the Way project in 2012, a songwriting competition that attempts to spread awareness about dating and domestic violence. Her winning song was called "Selfish Love."
She began recording her own music at the age of 13 and has been singing since she was two years old.
She found out she won the Pave the Way contest live on air during a local Detroit news report.
She co-wrote her first song, "See You Tonite," with her father, who has also acted as her manager.
She recorded the song "Me, Myself, and I" with Carlos Santana as a reward for winning the Pave the Way competition.
