NFL defensive end who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1971-1980.
He played college football at East Texas State University, before being drafted in the 4th round of the 1971 NFL draft.
He was a Pro Bowl selection in 1972 and 1973, and was nicknamed "Mad Dog" because of his extreme intensity.
He had one daughter with his wife, Karen.
He won four Super Bowl championships, with each team led by coach Chuck Noll.
