He earned his first on-screen credit for his work in the 2008 film Desertion.
He appeared in a recurring role on the popular NBC TV show About a Boy in 2014. He appeared as Ed Charles in the 2013 film 42.
He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois.
He has voiced with Rob Lowe on the Disney Channel original TV series The Lion Guard.
