Former NHL defenseman who became the San Jose Sharks' general manager after retiring.
He was a standout junior league player and was selected sixth overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in 1977.
He spent the majority of his career with the Blackhawks, only going to the Sharks for his last two seasons.
His brother, Murray Wilson, helped the Montreal Canadiens to four Stanley Cups.
He played alongside Tony Esposito on the Chicago Blackhawks.
