Country musician and fiddle player who has released hits like "Hello Woman," which peaked at #29 on the country charts.
He started playing the fiddle at age five and did not learn English until he was eight years old. He started a band with his brother called Continental Playboys in 1948.
Despite having a music career, he still earned an undergraduate degree in mathematics from McNeese State University.
He married his wife Pam in 1975 and they went on to have five sons: Douglas, Victor, Zachary, Tyler, and Elijah.
He made his television debut on The Johnny Cash Show in 1969.
