Doug Armstrong

Former general manager of the National Hockey League's Dallas Stars who took over as the general manager of the St. Louis Blues in 2010.
He joined the Dallas Stars in 1991; he was appointed as General Manager in 2002.
He was assistant general manager of the Stars in 1999 when they won the Stanley Cup. He was named NHL General Manager of the Year in 2013.
His father is Hall of Fame linesman Neil Armstrong.
Former All-Star right winger Brett Hull succeeded him as general manager of the Stars.
