Donn F. Eisele
Astronaut
Astronaut who served as command module pilot of the Apollo 7 mission. He received the NASA Distinguished Service Medal posthumously.
He attended the Air Force Institute of Technology, and was a test pilot for the Air Force Special Weapons Center.
He served as Country Director of the U.S. Peace Corps in Thailand following his career with NASA.
He has two children with his wife Susan. He also has another four children through a previous marriage.
He and Alan Bean were both members of NASA Astronaut Group 3 in 1963.
