British actor who played the role of Mallinson in the assassination thriller film, The Day of the Jackal. He has won the Actor of the Year Award for the Society of West End Theatre and a Drama Desk Special Award.
He made his stage debut in a Brighton Little Theater production.
He wrote a book called Laughter in the Second Act.
He married actress Diana Mahony, with whom he had two children.
He was in the film The Children alongside Ben Kingsley.
