Dominic Gorie

American astronaut who flew on four Space Shuttle missions. Prior to working for NASA, he served in the United States Navy.
His father was a pilot who died when the jet he was flying crashed.
He was commander of a mission to the International Space Station in 2001.
He married Mary Lu Williams and had two children.
He and Neil Armstrong were both NASA astronauts.
