Russian player who turned pro in 2000; by 2013, he was a seven-time singles ATP career titleholder and five-time ATP doubles career titleholder.
His father had him play tennis for a few hours each day when he was only five.
He became known for mixing dance tracks that he could listen to during his tennis practices.
He was born to Igor and Svetlana Tursunov.
He was defeated by James Blake at the 2007 Davis Cup.
