Pop and world music performer known for his contributions to the campursari style. He rose to fame for his sad love songs which earned him the title The Godfather of the Broken-Hearted. He passed away in May of 2020.
He began his career in music busking on the streets of his hometown.
Just before his death he held a live stream fundraiser to help the fight against COVID-19.
He and his wife Yan Vellia had two children.
Both he and fellow music performer Agnez Mo were born in Indonesia.
