Famous for her trademark bald look during runway fashion shows, Soares modeled for Gucci, Sonia Rykiel, VIP Lingerie, and several other designers and fashion lines.
She began her modeling career at the age of sixteen, appearing in a Tips and Toes advertising campaign.
She won the 1995 Miss Bombay beauty pageant title.
She was born and raised in Bandra, Maharashtra, India in a family uninvolved in the modeling industry.
She and fellow Indian model Gauhar Khan both competed on the popular reality series Bigg Boss.
