Diana Wynne Jones
Novelist
English writer who wrote many fantasy novels for children and adults including the Dalemark series and the novel Howl's Moving Castle.
She studied English at St Anne's College in Oxford and graduated in 1956.
She was the recipient of the World Fantasy Award for Life Achievement in 2007.
She married John Burow in 1956 and they had three sons.
She attended lectures by C.S. Lewis at St. Anne's College in Oxford in the 1950s.
