Early in her career, she joined the Live Theater Company.
She played Marsha Stubbs on the drama Soldier Soldier.
She was married to David Easter from 1985 to 1988 and Tim Healy from 1988 to 2012. In 2013, she married Lincoln Townley. She and Healy had two sons, Louis and Matthew.
