He got his start performing at the Jamaican nightclub Cactus at age 15.
He signed to Akon's En-Treeg Records label in 2017.
His real name is Collin Demar Edwards. He married Terry Edwards, with whom he has children.
He released a popular remix of Rihanna's "Rude Boy."
