Her parents began dating in 2007 and were engaged in 2010. However, they delayed their marriage until same-sex marriage was legalized. They finally tied the knot in 2013.
She earned her name after Dax Shepard's friend joked about her name stating "Oh, great! What's this one gonna be? Navy Seal? Delta Force? Green Beret?"
She has an older sister named Lincoln.
Her mother is the star of the cult television series Veronica Mars where she appears opposite Jason Dohring.
