Dave Henderson

Former MLB center fielder nicknamed "Hendu" best remembered for his days with teams like the Seattle Mariners and Oakland Athletics. He won the World Series as a member of the Athletics in 1989.
He was a star baseball and football player for the Dos Palos High School Broncos. The school later retired his jersey number in both sports.
Following his playing career, he worked as a color commentator for the Seattle Mariners on radio and television from 1997 to 2006. He later returned to the booth in 2011.
His uncle is former MLB pitcher Joe Henderson.
He was teammates with outfielder Rickey Henderson on the Athletics team which won the 1989 World Series.
