Known by the stage name Stix Zadinia, he is the drummer for the parody metal band Steel Panther, a group formerly known Metal Skool.
He started playing the drums at the age of 9. He was previously a member of a band called The Thornbirds alongside fellow Steel Panther member Russ Parrish.
His drum setup normally includes DW drums, Sabian cymbals and Vic Firth drumsticks. Some bands that influence him include Led Zeppelin, Kiss, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Michael Bolton.
He is a native Californian.
He performs alongside Ralph Saenz in Steel Panther.
