Swiss poet and scholar known for Blue Opium, Camera Obscura, Mass Graves, and other poetic works. Also a translator and editor, he worked for Harter, Saw Palm, The Adirondack Review, and other publications.
He received degrees in literature, philosophy, and creative writing before teaching at the University of South Florida and at England's Edge Hill University.
He was born in Switzerland to a family of German and Sicilian heritage.
He married Nicole Renee Pantano, an American visual artist and photographer.
He is a literary contemporary of popular American author Stephanie Meyer.
