Known as The King of History in Kenya, Misiani was a Tanzanian singer who was known to be a contributor to the Benga music genre.
He moved to Kenya during the 1960s to pursue a career in music, and started out being part of the Victoria Boys.
His music featured Dholuo and Swahili languages.
He was married twice and had fourteen children.
