Daniel Floyd
Animator
Animator known for his work with the web series Extra Credits, which creates explanatory videos simplifying the video game industry. His sped-up voice acting has become an integral part of the show. He's also worked for Pixar Canada.
He attended the Savannah College of Art and Design as well as the University of Georgia. While in school, he first came up with the idea for Extra Credits.
The show's characteristic high-pitched voice originated when Floyd created a video project for class that ran too long, so he shortened it by speeding it up, which ultimately changed the sound of his voice.
He grew up in Vancouver, but later moved to Washington. He married Carrie Floyd.
Like Harry Partridge, Floyd became known for his animations on YouTube.
