He studied law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru in Lima, and graduated from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in 1981 with a master's in economic law.
From 1994 to 2006, he was the general director of Nielsen Peru.
He was born in Peru on the 14th of April, 1955.
