Co-starred with Bruce Willis on the television series Moonlighting and played memorable roles in the classic films Taxi Driver, The Heartbreak Kid and The Last Picture Show. She also starred in her own sitcom Cybill on CBS from 1995 to 1998.
At the age of 16, she was crowned Miss Teenage Memphis. She was then featured on the cover of Glamour magazine four years later in 1970.
She played Madeleine Spencer on the series Psych from 2008 to 2013.
She married her first husband, David M. Ford, in 1978, and the couple had a daughter the following year. She dated rock icon Elvis Presley in the early '70's.
She appeared alongside Jennifer Beals on the series The L Word.
