Broadcast journalist and interviewer known for her work with NBC, CBS, and CNN. She hosted such programs as Good Morning America, the CBS Evening News, Eye to Eye with Connie Chung, and Weekends with Maury and Connie.
In 1969, she graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a journalism degree. She began her career as a correspondent for CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite in Washington, D.C. in the early 1970s.
