Actor who appeared on the soap opera All My Children as well as in ten episodes of the television drama, Titans. He also starred in the films Lionheart, The American President and Hail Caesar!
His parents were killed in a plane crash when he was just nine years old.
He served in the military in his early adulthood years and also trained as an opera singer.
His father was George Franckenstein, an Austrian government official who had been stationed in London prior to the Nazi takeover of Austria. During the World War II era, George Franckenstein became a British citizen and married Englishwoman Editha King, who became the mother of his child, Clement von Franckenstein.
He acted alongside Michael Douglas, Annette Bening, and Martin Sheen in the 1995 film, The American President.
