One of six brothers and sisters who make up the family group JAGMAC, each letter of JAGMAC representing the first name of a sibling. The group is skilled as vocalists, dancers, rapper and songwriters with CJ being the the leader and primary songwriter for JAGMAC as well as a talented dancer/choreographer and rapper.
He wrote his first song when he was eight years old.
He earned a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and became a two-time world champion Black Sash in Eskrima. He obtained an AA in Business Administration.
His name CJ is short for Carlos Jantzen. He is the eldest sibling of the Patalinghugs. His siblings are Jared, Angelique, Gabriel, Manjo and Alyssa.
His vocal ability has been compared to George Michael.
