Chuck Hull
Inventor
Prolific inventor and businessman known for creating the process known as stereolithography, or 3D printing. He co-founded of the 3D printer manufacturing company 3D Systems and holds more than 60 unique patents.
He graduated from Central High School in Grand Junction, Colorado and earned a degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Colorado in 1961.
In 2014, he received the European Inventor Award in the Non-European countries category. He was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame the same year.
He married a woman named Anntionette and has two children.
He and James Fergason, creator of the LCD screen, are both members of the National Inventors Hall of Fame.
