Perhaps most well known for her portrayal of Jennifer Greene in the medical drama ER, she is also notable for her work in the films Dazed and Confused (1993), Hellraiser: Bloodline (1996), and Judgement Night (1993).
Early in her career, she appeared in the movies The Rescue (1988) and Forbidden Sun (1989).
She co-starred with Renée Humphrey and Lewis Smith in the 2003 movie Seventh Veil.
She spent her youth in Greenlawn, New York, where she attended the same high school from which singer Mariah Carey graduated.
She appeared with Robin Wright in the 1990 film Denial.
